Resources / Demonstrations

A short real estate demo session that ends cleanly

A public voice demonstration needs a defined end so a forgotten browser tab or an unanswered goodbye does not leave an open session consuming resources.

01

The decision to make first

A public voice demonstration needs a defined end so a forgotten browser tab or an unanswered goodbye does not leave an open session consuming resources. Enforce the approved duration limit in the service as well as the interface, with a brief wrap-up and an explicit final connection state.

02

What the handoff should contain

Record the session start, absolute expiry, remaining allowance and whether the termination completed on both the browser and provider sides.

03

Suggested wording to approve

Example wording: “This demonstration has a limited session length. I will wrap up when the limit approaches; you can start another permitted example or contact the team afterward.”

04

Test the difficult case

Test a silent visitor, a refreshed page and a session that reconnects near expiry, verifying that the original limit still controls termination. Do not rely only on the assistant saying goodbye or on a browser countdown that can reset when the page reloads.

05

Worked example

Fictional example: A visitor refreshes the page shortly before the demonstration expires. The refreshed interface should not grant a fresh duration to the same active session. A second test reconnects after a brief network loss; the service still uses the original absolute expiry and closes the provider connection, even if the assistant has not finished a sentence.

06

Review it in operation

Review sessions that exceed their intended duration and distinguish graceful wrap-up from the separate technical action that closes the connection.
